You probably could use HT/HTL interchangeably to reach a broader audience! As I’ve been afforded the same opportunities as an HTL, even pay wise. I know supervisor is larger scope, but even then HT has not failed me on that scope either. Love the blog, truly!
Don’t worry Christa. I am a happy HT, QIHC. I won’t leave us out! Seems as though you know where I’m going….it’s a future blog to let everyone know the subtle differences between the two. I can’t give everything away at once, then no one will come back to my blog. Thanks for the ❤️
That’s exciting to hear! I may have misunderstood when you used “histotechnologist” I think HTL and “histotechnician” HT! Excited to see the future blogs! I think this’ll will be great, every time I meet someone and they ask what I do, no one ever knows! Can’t wait to see the next blog, I’ve had thoughts on that for a while now!
It’s time for us all to recognize and embrace that we are all scientists. Time to elevate ourselves to our rightful places and get out of the dungeons.
I’m interesting in hearing the differences. I know traveling nurses make almost 40% more than their stationary counterparts. I wonder if histotechnologists are the same. I am excited to ready your blog!
